For over 20 years, Cornerstone Ventures and its affiliates have been helping individuals and institutions invest in real estate. While past results are not a guarantee of future performance, Cornerstone has successfully completed eight full-cycle investment programs and established institutional joint venture relationships with Citigroup and CB Richard Ellis.

In 2009, Cornerstone, through its affiliates, entered the healthcare real estate sector and has since advised on the acquisition and management of seventeen healthcare properties totaling $187 million in purchase price. These properties included assisted living/memory care facilities, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, specialty hospitals and medical office buildings. Cornerstone advised on the acquisition of these properties in alliance with a third-party, healthcare real estate acquisitions and asset management service provider.

In 2012, Cornerstone internalized its healthcare acquisition and asset management capabilities under the banner of Cornerstone Healthcare Properties.
