Robert Bruce comes to Pacific Cornerstone Capital Corp. from United Healthcare where he was the Director of Marketing and chartered with building a marketing department to support the broker distribution of the company’s Medicare products.  He was instrumental in helping build and support this new distribution channel for United Healthcare that quickly grew to represent 75% of the division’s total sales. 

 

Prior to United Healthcare, Rob was at MetLife Investors where he served as Vice President of Marketing and was responsible for marketing the company's variable and fixed annuities, life insurance and long-term care insurance products through a network of broker/dealers.  Rob helped to launch this MetLife subsidiary in April of 2001 and helped build and structure a marketing department that today supports over $9 billion in sales.  

 

Previous to MetLife Investors, Rob led marketing programs at Equitable, UBS/PaineWebber, Merrill Lynch and Bloomberg Financial.  He has a varied product background that includes annuities, life insurance, long-term care insurance, alternative investments and Medicare products as well as financial planning, retirement and traditional investment product exposure. 

 

Rob was born and raised in New Jersey and is a graduate of Kean University where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Management.  He lives in southern California with his wife and 3 children.
